Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna in water (well-drained)
- 2 cups steamed broccoli florets
- ½ cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 1 can cream of mushrooms
- 1 cup 2% milk
- ¾ Italian breadcrumbs
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt
- Black pepper
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
- In a skillet, heat the butter and cook the onions and mushrooms for about 7-8 minutes. Set aside.
- Grease a large baking pan and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushrooms, milk, tuna, mushrooms, and steamed broccoli. Mix well.
- Add the salt and pepper. Mix again.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Add the cheese as a first layer, then add the breadcrumbs as well.
- Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve warm.
