Ingredients
- pie dough (could be frozen)
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 oz unsalted butter, sliced
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 oz peanuts
How to Make It
- Preheat the oven to 250˚-280˚ Fahrenheit.
- Sprinkle the apples with the sugar and cinnamon and leave for 5 min.
- Combine the apples with all the ingredients except for the pie dough and butter.
- Coat the muffin pan with the butter, oil or cooking spray and then spread out the dough over the muffin pan. Cut out the dough with a glass or circular kitchen tool, but remember that the round crust should be bigger than a muffin.
- Push down each round crust part into a muffin pan.
- Spoon the apple filling into each pie crust and top with the butter.
- Place the mini apple pies into the oven and bake for 30 min.!
