Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 vanilla bean (optional)
- ¾ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1½-inch piece ginger
- 4 dates
- 2 cups boiling water
How to Make It
- Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend on high for a minute or two, until thoroughly mixed.
- Let cool a little bit, and strain through a cheesecloth or nut milk bag, being careful not to burn yourself.
- Enjoy iced or reheat in a saucepan to serve warm.
