A delectable fish dish Spanish style. Serve with some good bread.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped red chili
- 1 cup sliced chorizo
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ground fennel seeds
- ½ tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp saffron strands
- 4 chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 cup fish broth
- ½ cup white wine
- 1 lb cleaned clams
- 1 lb bass cut into bite-sized pieces
How to Make It
- Heat the olive oil in a pot and then sauté the onion, red chili, sausage, garlic and fennel seeds for 5 minutes.
- Add the paprika, saffron and fresh tomatoes and stir for 4 minutes.
- Pour the broth in and wine and bring the liquid to a boil.
- Lower the heat to a simmer. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the seafood. Simmer for 5 minutes, until the clams open and the bass is flaky.
