Big beefy burgers are slathered with honey mustard and topped with juicy grilled pineapple for the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp powdered garlic
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Pinch onion powder
Sauce
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 4½ tsp mayonnaise
Burgers
- 8 brioche burger buns
- 8 pineapple rings (grilled)
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese
- 8 iceberg lettuce leaves
- 8 slices tomato
How to Make It
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. Shape the mixture into 8 equally-sized patties.
- Cook the burgers on the grill for approximately 4 minutes each side.
- In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Stir together the mustard, honey, cayenne pepper, and mayonnaise in a bowl.
- To assemble the burgers, spread 1-2 tsp of the sauce on the bottom half of each bun and place a burger on top followed by a grilled pineapple ring, Cheddar slice, lettuce leaf, and slice of tomato. Serve straight away.
